The Meaningful Use / MIPS Measure Programmer/Analyst functions as the primary support contact and expert for the application, as it pertains to Meaningful Use and MIPS Measure subject matter including, but not limited to MU, MIPS formatting.
They will be working under the direction of the Meaningful Use Program Manager and upward to the Vice President.
The person in this role will have to configure, validate and maintain any MU / MIPS measures within the application.
With subject matter experts, develop and document precise operational specifications and match these to system capabilities.
Manage escalations received from the team and outside entities relative to MU/MIPS measures and data.
Should analyze new releases and special updates from the vendor (especially those related to Meaningful Use and MIPS core Measures) conducting report related testing and completing vendor specified build to determine how workflow, build or configuration should be modified.
Provide PTO cross coverage to other Programmer/Analyst for Quality measure management (PQRS, eCQM, QRDA I, QRDA III).
Manage multiple and competing tasks, anticipating and preventing issues is a primary function of the Application Analyst.
Prompt identification, escalation and resolution of issues are required.
If remote, the candidate will have to come onsite for the first week to obtain laptop, attend client’s Orientation and meet the team.
Client will reimburse the candidate for travel expenses if they are working remotely.
Skills and Experience:
Should have a college level degree or equivalent work experience.
Should have excellent logic, verbal and math skills.
Should have 2-5 years of epic build experience, programming background which includes business analysis/workflow, configuration, build and installation of applications.
Ambulatory or ClinDoc experience.
Successful completion of required Epic training and/or certification within 12 months of hire.
This position requires flexibility to orient and work at all client’s locations.
Preferred someone with strong history in data management and experience in regulatory programs or meaningful use of quality programs
HL7 build experience to support QRDA builds as required.
Familiarity with CMS and Medicaid regulatory programs.
Epic training and/or certification.
